Ngen's story

Ngen T., 38, is widowed and resides with her child in Phnom Penh City, Cambodia, the most populated city in the country. She sells vegetables, earning an income of USD 5 per day. Her child is employed at a factory, earning an income of USD 3 per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend USD 75 on food and USD 30 on other necessary expenses.
