A loan of $300 helped the purchase of drinks and ingredients for natural drinks.

Yuris Mabel's story

Yuris, age 21, lives in Yoloaiquin in the Morazan department with her husband and one-year-old child. She sells drinks, since she helped her mother to prepare and sell drinks as a child. Now that she has her own home, it was not hard for her to find a business to help her husband with the household costs. She makes her sales to buses and cars which travel between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

She is requesting this loan for the purchase of materials for drinks, such as fruits, plastic bags, and sugar. She will also purchase Gatorade, sodas and water. She will also use part of the loan to pay a lawyer to help her to register the home where she currently lives.

This loan will benefit her twice; on one hand, the investment will help her business. On the personal level, she will be able to start the registration process in order to have more security in her home.

Her dream is to see her child grow healthily, and to be able to give him the best for his proper development. She also hopes to continue working in search of economic growth.
