Mary Wambui's story

Mary is a 32-year-old single mother of two children, aged 17 and 14. She runs a green grocery shop and has been in operation for three years, earning an income of KES 4,300. This is her third loan after successfully repaying the previous ones. She intends to use the loan to buy more tomatoes and cabagges for sale. With the accumulate savings, she wants to expand her business. She hopes to be a leading business woman, buy a plot of land and build a house, and also give her children a quality education.
