Jambar Group's story

The solidarity group Jambar was created nearly five years ago. It is made up of 19 women who all live in the same neighborhood and share a common goal: developing their area. They know each other through ties of friendship and kinship. The group belongs to the Banc Villageois of Kignabour 2.

Mrs Adama N° 2 S., pictured sixth from the left, wearing a green scarf and portrayed in the small inlay, chairs the group. She is 59 years old, widowed and the mother of four children. She runs a small business selling various products, such as fruit, baobab fruit (monkey bread), sugar, coffee, milk, etc. Her new loan will enable her to efficiently develop her small business thanks to the increased inventory. Her goal is to pay for her personal needs, support her children and provide them with food.
