A loan of $550 helped to buy fertilizer for her alfalfa crop.

Arista's story

66 year old Arista lives with her husband in their own home. She has been working in agriculture and livestock raising since she was a child, and for more than 20 years this occupation enabled her to feed her family. She currently has cows, bulls, donkeys, and horses, which she cares for daily, giving them food and a relaxing environment in her stable. Every now and then she sells her animals and then buys others of greater quality. At the same time, she grows corn and potatoes, and after several months she sees the profits and so she wants to increase the number of animals in her stable. This is her first loan from MFP and she is very happy to know that she has financial support and she is grateful to the people who will fulfill the loan that she is requesting, which will be very useful in developing her economic activities. Arista plans to use the money to buy sacks of fertilizer for her crops of alfalfa and fodder to feed her livestock, and in this way she hopes to continue progressing.
