A loan of $2,900 helped a member for the expansion and stocking of the business.

Los Lirios Rojos Group's story

This photo was taken in the business of Mrs Maria E, a member of the Los Lirios Rojos ["The Red Irises"] group, which is located in Tehuacan in the state of Puebla, in Mexico. They took their group name from one of the most characteristic plants of their community.
In the photo we see the location where Mrs Maria sells groceries. She started this business ten years ago. She is requesting this loan for the purchase of groceries in order to expand and stock her store. Her customers prefer to buy from her because she offers good prices and always has what they're looking for. Her customers say that her kindness and attentiveness make her stand out against the competition and have allowed her business to grow.
She is happy and has a great deal of enthusiasm. She is 38 and studied until grade 6. She is married and has two children: one girl and one boy, ages 10 and 8 respectively. She would like this loan in order to expand and stock her business. Among her goals for her family, she wants to finish building her house.
