Julio Daniel's story

Julio Daniel C. M. is 28 years old. He lives with his common-law wife in Ventanas canton, in Los Ríos province. He has three children.

The 'Tierra Nuestra' (Our Land) community bank is located in San Luís de Zapotal district, in Ventanas canton. The bank has 14 members who work in short-cycle agriculture, growing corn and rice.

Julio Daniel grows corn, cacao, soya and rice. He buys his products in Ecua - Agro and sells in the same place. He is requesting this loan to grown corn and rice, to buy supplies and seeds. The support of this loan will help him to financially cover his needs. He faces challenges such as insect infestations, diseases and changes in the weather. His dream is for his children to study and for them to be all right.
