Felipe's story

Felipe C.'s main source of income comes from planting and harvesting rice for sale. He is 42 years old, married and has four school-aged children. They are from the village of Esperanza West, Aurora, Isabela. Felipe has been in his business for over 25 years and earns approximately 35,000 Philippine pesos (PHP) during harvest season.

In 2010, Felipe joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living conditions and enable him to engage in business activities. Felipe is requesting a loan of 20,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional seeds, seedlings and young crops to raise. This will be his first loan from ASKI. He plans to use additional income to improve and expand his business.
