Lizet's story

Lizet M. B. is 30 years old and does not have any children. Her situation is a bit sad, because her husband passed away barely five months ago, leaving her unprotected and with an enormous amount of sorrow. She sells various types of ladies’ articles, also known as “chacharas.” This is her only means of support and she currently lives with her parents in the town of “Lo de Soto,” located 45 minutes from Pinotepa Nacional.

It was her great need that prompted her to request a loan to buy more merchandise, such as lipsticks, nail polish, hair accessories, ribbons, hair clips, and jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, rings, and decorated pens.

She is doing well in her business and at least earns enough to survive, as her daily work is her only obligation. She tells us that she faces a very difficult situation but still has some enthusiasm, knowing that life offers her the opportunity to get ahead. She struggles against the challenges and sadness, but little by little she is winning. Her biggest challenge is to beat her grief. It will take time, but she has taken the first step, which is determination.

Her biggest source of hope is knowing that life offers many tests, as well as many opportunities to get ahead. She wants to prove to herself that one can achieve when one works with love. She would like to create her own legacy, but at the moment her only desire is to beat her grief and sorrow.

Lizet is grateful to those who have helped her get this loan, whoever they are. She wants to say thank you and sends a big hug.
