A loan of $400 helped to buy cattle to butcher.

Oscar Armando's story

Oscar lives in El Transito, San Miguel department with his mother and a brother. He’s single and butchers beef; he is also employed. His business is butchering cattle to sell the meat from home. He learned this occupation from his grandmother and he’s been doing it for the last three years. Currently he faces the inconvenience of not having funds to buy cattle to stay in business selling beef. This is why he’s asking for a loan to invest in steers. The help will make it possible for him to increase his potential as a butcher and he will continue to produce income for his family to cover daily household needs. His goal is to keep the business and make it grow in order to get ahead with his family.
