A loan of $725 helped to buy beer to stock her business.

Ysidora's story

Ysidora is 53 years old. She lives with her husband and two young daughters in her own home. Together they work hard every day to get ahead in life.

After having worked for several years selling meals and cosmetics from her home, which was a shack, Ysidora wanted to start improving herself. With a lot of hard work, this enterprising woman built her own home and, eight years ago, she started to develop her business there. She gradually increased her stock of food products and her business is doing very well which makes her very happy. However, she says that she doesn't like to proviD. goods on credit because that way you lose a lot of friendships and don't have enough capital to stock your business with a large quantity of merchandise. Owing to her good customer service and kindness, Ysidora currently has many customers who use her business and she is very satisfied because the business is very profitable.

In order to energize her store, Ysidora is thinking of buying several crates of beer and, in the future, she would like to stock her business with school supplies and set up an area as a small stationery store.

This is Ysidora's 16th loan with MFP and, as a long-standing member, she pledges to make her repayments on time as she has up until now. Owing to her responsibility, she is a very well-respected member of her community bank. Ysidora plans to invest her loan money in increasing her stock of perishables and also buying 15 crates of beer since this drink makes good money. In this way, she hopes to improve her profits.
