A loan of $4,925 helped a member to buy iron.

Lucinda Group's story

The Lucinda community bank is starting its 15th loan cycle with 16 members.

Nora is the bank's president. She is 48 years old, married, and has 7 children. Nora and her husband have a metal workshop where they make doors, railings, stairs, windows, etc. She is requesting a loan to invest in buying iron.

Nora joined Finca at her sister's invitation. This is the third loan cycle in which she has participated. She likes the training that she receives because they talk a lot about marriage, family, health and business and she can also save. Her dreams are to be able to buy a plot of land and build her own home, for her children to study and for them to become professionals.

In this group: Nora Victoria, Leonora, Elsa Elena, Juan Carlos, Marta, Eugenia, Mayra, Norma, Aurora, Lara Elena, Yenny Luz, Blanca Antonieta, Dilma, Victoria Maria, Emily Viky, Maria Ysabel
