Nurjamal's Group's story

Nurjamal J. is the leader of this group. She is a resident of Karabalta, a small town near Bishkek (capital of Kyrgyzstan). She is 37 and married to a construction worker. She has two sons and a daughter. The first son and the daughter attend school and the second son is preschool age (under seven). In order to earn money to cover family expenses, Nurjamal breeds livestock and sells milk. In this way she earns 2,800 KGS per month. She hopes to obtain the loan because she needs money to purchase coal for heating during the winter season.
