Maria's story

María is 57 years old. She lives in her own home with her husband Jesús (58) and two of her four children. Together they work to get ahead in life and make progress.

For several years, this enterprising woman has been selling juices and extracts as an itinerant street vendor. Her business has grown quite a lot and with the profits she has maD., together with her husband's wage, she has been able to build her home from solid construction materials. She now runs her business successfully from her home. Every day she stocks up with considerable quantities of fresh fruit which she uses to make her delicious juices and extracts. She also sells cakes and soda in her business and makes regular income from this.

María feels very happy since she really enjoys her business and she has her husband's support. In parallel with this business, María also sells underwear through catalogs. While her customers are drinking their juices, she takes advantage to show them her catalogs and thereby attract new customers. In the future, she is thinking of expanding her business and setting up a soda fountain. In this way, she hopes to get ahead.

This is María's 16th loan with MFP and she is grateful for the support she has received. For this reason, she pledges to make her repayments on time. María plans to invest her loan money in buying guaranteed brands of frozen treats since the factory will lend her a freezer. In this way, she hopes to increase her profits.
