Badiru W. is 37 years old and lives in the town of Bugiri in the Iganga region of Uganda. He is married and has 5 children. All of his children are currently in school. Badiru has a business of a restaurant, which he has had for less than one year.
To help expand his business, Badiru has requested a loan of 1,600,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase and store more food, which he will eventually cook for his clients. With the help of the loan from BRAC, Badiru hopes to generate greater profits and pay school fees. In the future, Badiru hopes to turn his business into a hotel.
