A loan of $375 helped to buy windows to improve her workshop.

Alicia's story

Alicia is 55 years old. She lives in her own home with her husband and four children with whom she works hard to get ahead in life. This hard-working woman has been in the sewing business for several years. Motivated by her children, she currently makes wallets in her home with her children's help. This is a very successful business. Alicia also has tools which make her work easier and she is able to finish off the wallets well. She makes good profits on her sales because her products are impeccable and well finished. They are distributed to several markets in the city. As Alicia is an enterprising woman, in the future she plans to finish building her home and she hopes to install a suitable workshop where she can receive her customers. This is Alicia's 13th loan from MFP and she knows that the loan she needs will be very helpful to her in continuing to expand her business. For this reason, she pledges to make her repayments on time. Alicia plans to invest her money in buying windows and window frames so that she can provide her sewing workshop with better light. In this way, she hopes to continue getting ahead in life.
