Twisungane Group's story

Epiphanie is 53 years old, married and has two children who 10 and 14 years old. She makes a living selling livestock and also leads a loan group called Twisungane in the Kinyarwanda language, which means "Let Us Join Together." The group members run different types of businesses but all of them are determined to expand their small companies and pay back this loan.

Epiphanie has sold livestock for the last three years and is applying for this loan to buy more livestock to sell. She hopes to use the additional profits made possible by this loan to renovate her house and improve her family's life.
