El Valle Renace Group's story

Mercedes Liseth, age 30, has two small children. She is a member of the “El Valle Renace” (The Valley Is Reborn) Communal Bank. It is comprised of 11 people who are enthusiastic and hard-working residents of the Carabayllo district.

Mercedes sells diverse products. She sells food like cheese and trout. She also sells clothing and accessories by order. She started by selling sweets in an itinerant manner. Little by little she was investing and trying to have and sell the products that were requested.

One of her goals and the motivation for her hard work is to be able to cover her children’s educational expenses. She wants to give them the opportunity to have a profession.

She will use the requested loan to buy merchandise and to cover cheese orders.
