A loan of $800 helped buy cattle.

Alex Franklin's story

Alex Franklin M. A. is 35 years old. He is married and has three children. He lives with his family in the community of La Villa en Francisco Morazan. Alex began to raise livestock three years ago, and his father taught him how to do the work. Twice a week he slaughters two cows and sells the meat to buyers who have butcher's shops. He needs the loan to buy three young bulls and thus increase his herd. With the help of this loan, he will be able to offer his customers more meat. His challenge is to keep his livestock healthy and safe, because this is what allows him to maintain himself economically. His goal is to become the biggest cattle owner in his community and thus be able to give his wife and children better living conditions. This is his first loan with FAMA.
