Balcon Florido Group's story

“Balcón florido” is a community bank which has 8 very enterprising members who work in a number of different business activities such as crop farming, livestock farming and retail sales.

Clinda is the president of the group. She is 65 years old and a single mother with 5 grown-up children. Clinda carries out a number of activities such as: livestock farming (cattle) and cheese selling. She was taught this work by her parents and, through hard work and commitment, she bought her own little plot of land on which to raise cattle.

Clinda is requesting a loan from EDAPROSPO to buy feed (concentrate) for the cattle that she raises. She dreams of buying a larger plot of land and adapting it especially for raising cattle. In the photo we can see all the members of the group who are happy to be receiving their loans. They are, of course, very responsible people.
