Aitkhon's Group
In this Group: Aitkhon , Kubatbek, Azamat, Aiken
The members of this group are farmers and cattle breeders with much experience among them. The group thanks the Kiva project for providing them with an opportunity to improve their business. They believe it will change their professional life and promise to repay the loan according to established deadlines.

Aitkhon P., 58, is the leader of this group. At this moment she is active in farming and cattle breeding. From the proceeds of her farming, she purchased a dairy cow. The dairy business had made a big contribution to her family income. Twenty two years ago she invested 8000 soms in this business start-up and it had paid off well. She was able to make major repairs to her house, and arranged an unforgettable wedding ceremony for her daughter.

Aitkhon gathered this group because she knew that they need financial assistance as much as she does. She would like to spend this loan to purchase additional cattle to broaden her business.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
