Son's Group's story

Nineteen people in Tnaot Nhi village in Kandal province make up this village bank loan. Mrs. Son S. is a village bank president who has been selected by the other members. Each member will use their portion of the loan for different purposes to improve their family living. Mrs. Son S. is a farmer who owns a half-hectare plot of land to grow rice to sell to support her family. She has some problems because her rice field is infertile. So to improve production, Mrs. Son S. is asking for a loan to buy fertilizer and rice seed. With the rest of the loan, she is going to buy fishing supplies because her husband, Mr. Tet Son, is a fisherman who is able to earn some money to support his family. Through this activity, they support four children, two of whom are employed in garment factories, but the others are studying in local public school.
