The Alborada group is starting its seventeenth cycle in Pro Mujer, as part of the Villa Exaltacion central office. The group is made up of eight members. The community bank is directed by a board: a president, treasurer and a secretary. The members' businesses are varied: sewing, a grocery store, fruit sales, appliance sales, brick sales, fruit sales, games sales and toys sales. Maria, the community bank treasurer, says that she has been part of the Alborada group for 13 cycles, approximately six and a half years. She is currently separated. She is a mother of two children and her business is fruit sales. Maria says that she has sold fruit since she was a child, first with her mother and later alone. Her first loan was $100 US (700 bs). The loan that she is currently requesting is 2000 Bs. Both loans were to be invested in the purchase of fruit. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she replied that she likes everything.

La B.C. “ALBORADA” iniciará el ciclo número diez y siete en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Villa Exaltación. Está compuesta por ocho integrantes, la banca comunal está dirigida por una mesa directiva: una presidenta, tesorera y secretaria de actas. Los negocios que las integrantes llevan adelante son variados: costura, tienda de barrio, venta de fruta, venta de artefactos, venta de ladrillos, venta de fruta, venta de jugos, venta de juguetes.

La señora María, tesorera de la banca comunal, indica que forma parte de la B.C. “Alborada” 13 ciclos, aproximadamente seis años y medio. Actualmente separada, madre de dos hijos, su negocio es la venta de fruta. La señora María comenta que desde niña vendió fruta, primero con su madre y luego sola. Su primer crédito fue de $us100 (Bs700) el que está solicitando en esta oportunidad es de Bs2000, en ambos casos está destinado a ser invertido en la compra de fruta.

Cuando se le consulta que le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella comenta que le gusta todo.
