Touba Group's story

The Touba solidarity group was created when the Banc Villageois was set up, more than 8 years ago. The group is made up of 13 women who live in the same village and have the same main interest - development of their land.

Madame Fatou M., on the left in the photo with her hand raised, is the group's leader. She is 36 years old, married, and the mother of 6 children. She has a small store, where she sells various products such as cereals and craft items. With the profit, she helps her husband in managing the family.
