Vergie V. is from the town of Talibon. She is 25 years old. Vergie is married and has two children, age 5 and 3. To make a living, she owns and operates a general store, selling both food and daily use products in the local community. She started her store three years ago.
Vergie joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. She is requesting a loan of 6,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional products to sell. This will be her 1st loan from CEVI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to support her family financially.
