Teresita De Jesus's story

Teresita de Jesús E. García is from Coapilla in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. She is married, and she has four children under her care. Víctor Manuel is 19 years old, Lázaro is 17 years old, Mariza del Rosario is 15 years old, and the youngest is Luis Antonio.

She requested a loan this time to buy Avon and Fuller brand products by catalog. This is a business activity that she wants to start. A friend invited her to sell these products because she will have good earnings. She decided to start this business activity in order to be able to help her husband with the household expenses.

Sometimes her husband does not have enough money to cover expenses. She says, “I need an activity that will allow me to get income without neglecting my children. Now that that they are adolescents and in the most difficult phase, a mother should be very close to her adolescent children in order to guide them. You cannot neglect them.”

She will be saving what she gets from her first sale in order to continue working and selling by catalog.
