A loan of $950 helped to buy fabric, threads and accessories.

Yenny María's story

Yenny María G. B. makes clothes and handicrafts in her home which is located in the town of San Jacinto, in Bolívar department. She repaid her previous Kiva loan on time and, thanks to that loan, she has managed to increase her sales and profits and has begun to build a home for herself, her husband and her small son to live in.

Yenny plans to use her current loan to buy fabric, threads and accessories. In the not-so-distant future she plans to buy a modern sewing machine so that she can do a better job of finishing off the clothes she makes and replace her current machine.

Yenny sends a special greeting to all Kiva lenders. She wishes them and their family members good health and prosperity, and thanks them for their generosity in helping humble and hard-working people in the most far-flung places on earth.
