A loan of $900 helped to buy a cow.

Bonifacia's story

Bonifacia is 49 and she lives with her husband in their own house. For the past 15 years she has been farming growing potatoes and oats and she also raises cows so that she gets milk, all products that are sold in her area. Her husband helps her with the work and with the passing years they have been able to stabilize their earnings. She says that she likes to work in the fields because she feels free. Also it is because this allows her to make the necessary income since she can sell what she grows and the milk helps her support her family. These are the reasons that she wants to continue working for some more years. The loan is her first with MFP and she is very happy to know that she has financial support. She also likes to be part of the communal bank because all of the members are people that she knows and they are responsible and united. She thanks those who are offering the loan that she is requesting and it will be very helpful in improving the earnings from her work. Bonifacia will use the money to buy another dairy cow.
