A loan of $1,200 helped to buy cattle forage.

Primo Isaac's story

Mr. Primo V. H. is married and has three children. They all live around the Maica Norte area, Stop 7, a rural zone of Cochabamba province.

This is the second time he’s requested a loan with help from Kiva. He fared vary well the first time and he is grateful for the help received.

Primo continues producing raw milk; he has 20 head of dairy cattle. All the milk he manages to produce is delivered to the PIL industrial milk processing plant. This is how he manages to receive regular income for the sale of his product. Having his own alfalfa fields helps his with forage costs and besides he sells any extra alfalfa to his neighbors.

Rosa, his wife, currently has kidney disease but her illness has not stopped her from accompanying her husband in his daily chores.

Primo is very grateful for the help received in the previous occasion and he always demonstrates his responsibility by repaying on time. He has asked for a new loan to buy forage. This purchase will make it possible for him to stock up prior to the rainy season.
