Leng's story

Leng C., 34, sells groceries, earning an income of USD 2 per day. C. is married and resides with her husband and three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia, an area known for pre-angkorean temples. Her husband is a construction worker, earning an income of USD 3 per day. The family has to spend USD 11 on food, USD 10 on electricity supply, and USD 20 on other necessary expenses every month. C. is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase more groceries to stock the store. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house.
