Gotita De Amor Group's story

This group is called 'Gotita de Amor' (Droplet of Love) and is located in the State of Morelos in Mexico. Their community is known for the famous fiesta which takes place on August 30th, when people come from all over to celebrate the Patron Saint of the town of Santa Rosa de Lima.

This group has 11 members. Ana Isabel is a member of the group. Her business is sewing. She started her business fifteen years ago with a borrowed sewing machine as she wanted to help her husband with their children's expenses. She is requesting this loan to buy an electric sewing machine.

Ana Isabel is 39 years old. She studied up to the third year of her secondary education. She is married and has four children aged: 22, 19, 17 and 2. Her customers bring clothes to her to mend. Elementary school teachers send her orders because they like her service and the work she does. She feels happy because this loan will allow her to buy her electric sewing machine and fill the orders that she already has for this winter season.

Ana Isabel would like to use subsequent loans to buy another sewing machine. Her plans are to own her own sewing workshop and to hire people from her own community to work with her so that she can give them work and help them. She would like to use her profits to buy a plot of land for her children that she can leave them as an inheritance in the future.

In this group: Claudia, Brigida, Ana Isabel, Maria Guadalupe, Alejandra, Nelida, Refugia, Agustina, Maria Guadalupe, Gabriela, Maria
