Buyantogtoh's story

Buyantogtoh L. is a single parent who lives with her three children. Her oldest daughter is disabled and stays at home, while her younger two children both attend a local high school. Buyantogtoh supports her family by operating a clothes-making business in her town, sewing not only the traditional Mongolian coat called deel, but also dresses.

Having worked in a tailoring business for many years, she gained much experience as a seamstress. She started her own business in 1992 after retiring from a dressmaking company, and over the years has expanded her product line to make a variety of evening dresses. She has built a positive reputation amongst her customers because of the good quality of her products.

A modest woman, Buyantogtoh is requesting a 1,500,000 MNT loan in order to purchase more fabrics and finishing materials for 1,250,000 MNT and a new sewing machine for her business at 250,000 MNT.
