Tao's story

Tao D., 24, is employed at a factory, earning an income of USD 3 per day. D. is married and resides with her husband and their child in Takeo Province, Cambodia, an area known for pre-angkorean temples. Her husband is employed as a transporter of materials for his existing customers, earning an income of USD 4 per day. The family has to spend USD 50 on food, USD 5 on electricity, and USD 45 on other necessary expenses every month. D. is requesting a loan of USD 1,200 to purchase a new car for her husband to improve his business. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house.
