A loan of $375 helped purchase fabrics, thread, and fasteners for making sportswear.

Rosa's story

Rosa is a member of the May 3rd II Communal Bank in the District, Province, and Department of Puno. She is 35 years old, in a common law marriage, and has two dependent children. Rosa completed her higher education.

She has been working with Manuela Ramos for two years. Her first loan was for 300 PEN and invested in her business of making sportswear.

Rosa’s new loan is in the amount of 1000 PEN and will be invested in fabrics, thread, and fasteners. She sells sweatshirts, T-shirts, and polo shirts. Rosa and her husband work together.

Her vision with her business is to acquire more machines and become a company that manufactures track suits. What she enjoys most about her Communal Bank are the convenience of the loans and the interest she earns from her savings.
