A loan of $375 helped to purchase fabric to make traditional clothing.

Consuelo's story

Consuelo is 27 years old. She lives with her husband and her 2 children in a rented home. Since more than 3 years ago, she has taught traditional dances to schoolchildren groups that study in her area. Also her husband, who is also a dance teacher, makes costumes and masks with traditional designs of their city, selling them to their students to generate more income. She considers her business very successful, which is why she has decided to move forward starting a shop to sell traditional clothing and costumes. This is her eighth loan with MFP. She is very happy to know that she has financial support, and she is thankful to be part of her community bank because all its members are people that she knows are responsible and supportive. She thanks all the people who are part of the loan that she requests as it will be very useful in the progress of her business. With the loan that she receives, she will invest in the purchase of fabrics to make new costumes.
