Big's story

Big S., 33, is a farmer, earning an income of USD 3 per day. S. is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia, an area known for the rubber plantation. Her husband is a taxi-driver, earning an income of USD 6 per day. The family has to spend USD 41 on food, USD 3 on electricity supply, and USD 5 on other necessary expenses every month. S. is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase a machine to cut firewood for sale. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house.
