Rafael's story

Rafael, who was born in El Torno on a July 25th, is a farmer. He’s been a farmer for many years. He works hard because his father is handicapped and unable to speak and Rafael works to support him. His father helps him during harvest time. He farms peanuts and does well with the crop since he owns his own piece of farmland. He also raises pigs to butcher and sell by the kilogram.

He has his plot of land in Los Moros which is 5 kilometers from El Torno. He will use funds from the loan to buy seed and pay for costs related with preparing the soil for planting. He will also buy a litter of pigs. He is grateful to the institution for the support given.
