Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The Enterprising Women's Committee is an excellent committee which was founded on November 16th, 2010. It is made up of 15 women from J.A. Saldivar. This group was established when Mrs Epifania S. approached an advisor at a loan renewal meeting that was taking place in her area to find out about the Enterprising Women's Committee Program. She was very enthusiastic and very keen to be able to work within this program. Now she and her fellow group members are working very happily in their first loan cycle within the Enterprising Women's Committee Program.

This is a very active group. All of its members demonstrate camaraderie and solidarity. They attend the weekly meetings and carry out business activities to make funds for the common good of the group. This is one of the best groups working with Fundación Paraguaya since most of its members have been active since the first loan and, for this reason, they demonstrate solidarity and camaraderie.

One of the group's members is Epifanía who sells vegetables from a small business that she has in her home. She is requesting a loan to buy vegetables in large quantities such as tomatoes, onions, beets, bell peppers and carrots.

In this group: Epifania, Erotida, Esmilce, María, Mercedes, Sonia, Laura, Gladyz, Andresa, Margarita, Lucila, Lucila, Juana, Balbina, Clara
