A loan of $550 helped purchase construction materials to finish building his home.

Juan's story

Juan, who is 45 years old, lives in his own house with his 46 year old wife Mery and their 3 young daughters. Together they strive every day to get ahead in search of a better life. This enterprising man is a civil construction worker, and from a young age learned all the necessary skills to continue this work without problems. After a number of years, this experience has made him a master of construction. Today he works with a friend on large projects, whose engineers hire them temporarily. He really enjoys finishing a project and seeing all his efforts embodied in a strong building. What he doesn't enjoy is that his home is somewhat removed from the city, so that he has to leave at dawn every day in order to arrive on time. Since he is a rather enterprising man, he plans in the future to start a grocery store in his house, and to do this he wants to finish building his house with high quality materials. This is his second loan with MFP and he promises to make his payments on time. He is very grateful to the people who made it possible for him to continue with his projects. Juan plans to invest the amount asked for in purchasing construction materials (including cement, sand, and bricks) as he intends to build 3 walls from quality materials as a start on refurbishing his home.
