Cecilia's story

Cecilia is 40 years old and she sells pupusas. It is a source of income for her household. She lives in San Francisco Gotera, in the Morazan region. She lives with her four children: Rony, 18; Nilson, 17; Wilson, 13; and, Jose Miguel, 4. She is a single mother and she has had her business for the past five years. She works from 5:00am to 11am every day of the week. She started out thanks to her mother who taught her how to prepare the ingredients to make pupusas.

She requests a loan to purchase a stove with a grill surface and to purchase ingredients, including: tomatoes, onions, corn, hot peppers, and other ingredients that are necessary to make pupusas. This investment will help her generate more income for her household and to proviD. better service and attention to her clients.

Her goal is to be a good client and to make payments in the dates that were agreed on, to save money to improve their home, and to keep working hard for the welfare of her children, to keep them in school until they graduate from university.
