Madres Ladereñas Group's story

Sonia lives in Puente Piedra, an area of Lima with hard-working and enterprising people like her. She is married with 3 young children. She is always looking for a way to support her husband. For some time, she sold juice in the center of the city, but because this business was far, her children stayed by themselves a lot. As a result, she and her husband decided to start a general store in their house. Recently, her business was growing, and she mostly sold seasonal fruit and sweets, including cookies, sponge cakes, chocolates, and sodas. Her business does best during the school year because her store is near a high school. With her business, she has been able to help her daughter so that she can continue studying computers and informatics. On the other hand, she still lacks a little bit to complete a larger location for her business. Her current loan will be usd to buy sodas and more sweets. She is the secretary of the “MADRES LADEREÑAS” group.
