Mrs. Leng B., 38, is married and lives with her husband in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. To cover her family’s expenses, she works as a tailor at home, earning around $5/day in revenue. Her husband, meanwhile, is self-employed as a construction foreman, earning about $2/day. Mrs. Leng B. has requested a loan to purchase a new sewing machine to make her business more productive, faster and easier.
