Cesar Augusto's story

Cesar Meléndez owns the clothing store X Treme Wear, he is married with two children aged 4 and 6. He began selling clothing on commission to his friends and family after becoming unemployed three years ago. Since then his business has changed his life because it allowed him more autonomy and better income for the wellbeing of his family. His dream is to have a large store on its own premises and well situated in the center of Barranquilla, but the big challenge is the financial resources to do so.

This is the purpose for his credikiva, which is the first funding that he will receive from the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. With it he will buy men's clothing, including sweaters and jeans, because his experience tells him that is what most popular during the December and January period. The financial indicators of his business are as follows: 46% profit margin, 54% contribution margin and 25% operating income.

Cesar is a hardworking man known by the whole community of the Paz neighborhood, which is why he has achieved this position with his business. He is also an excellent family member, whose purpose is to improve their income on a daily basis through hard work, so his family can get ahead.
