Kanym N. is 54 years old and has five grown children. She lives in Ozgorush village in the north of Kyrgyzstan. Kanym has worked as a milker in the local area for a long time. Her colleagues characterize her as an openhearted and hardworking person. Along with her family, Kanym breeds cattle and cultivates kidney beans and perennial herbs. She has worked hard to improve her business and achieve success. Today, Kanym has a farm with milk cows and she sells their milk to the local dairy factory.
Kanym plans to use her loan of 70,000 KGS to increase the number of cows she has and to purchase mineral fertilizers and manure to improve her harvest and farm products. In the future, she plans to build a barn to provide better conditions for her livestock.
