A loan of $1,000 helped purchase of chemical and organic fertilizers and pest control treatment.

José David Everinos's story

José David is a vegetable farmer. He is 25 years old and lives in Yoloaiquin in the Morazán department with his wife and his 1-year-old daughter. José has been growing vegetables for a neighbor for ten years now. Four years ago, he began planting chili peppers, tomatoes, green beans, and cucumbers on his own property.

He is requesting a loan in order to purchase farm supplies such as chemical and organic fertilizers and pest control treatment. This loan will help him to obtain the supplies he needs in order to plant his crops and to expand the area that he cultivates, thereby increasing his yield. This will give him the opportunity to offer fresh produce to his customers.

His goal is to obtain a good harvest so that he can sell it at a decent price and generate income for his family. One of his dreams is that his daughter will be able to grow up healthy and one day get a good job.
