Salome's story

Salome is 31 years old and lives in her own home with her husband Dany, 31, and their four young daughters. Together they work hard every day to keep making headway. For the past two years this hard-working woman has made a living selling fried chicken on the street, and it has gone very well since her profits are quite good. She works on the streets in her area from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and has a variety of customers who prefer her meals for the good price and flavor. It's for this reason she has good results, especially on the weekend. Although she alone tends to her business, sometimes her daughters will help her so she can keep up with demand. As an enterprising woman she has a lot of plans for her business in the future to sell a wide variety of meals. This is her second loan with Kiva partner MFP, and she promises to make her payments on time. She is very grateful to all the people who made this possible to allow her to continue working in search of progress. Salome plans to invest the loan she is requesting in the purchase of ingredients (rice, oil, spices, among other items) that she needs to continue moving forward with her business.
