A loan of $725 helped to buy manure and insecticides.

Uldarico's story

Uldarico, 30, is an unassuming, hard working man living in his own house with his two beloved children, Jamil, 8, and Yadira, 4, to whom he wants to provide a better quality of life.

Uldarico has spent his life farming, an activity that is necessary to live. His parents taught him farming since he was a little boy so he decided to continue with this family activity and now has his own coffee, cocoa bean and coca leaf crops which he sells in the city of San Francisco’s market when he harvests them.

What he enjoys most about his work is planting because he knows that his family’s tranquility depends upon this activity. He has been farming for 10 years and considers the most difficult part to be safeguarding his crops from brusque weather changes since this affects yields quite a bit. He’d like to continue working hard improving his crops.

This is his 6th loan with MFP. He knows that the contribution will be beneficial for his activity’s development. He is a very responsible member of his communal bank which makes him highly respected.

He will use the requested 2000 new soles to buy manure and insecticide to improve his crops.
