Rosine's story

A 40-year woman, single with two children, 16 and 20 years of age. In 1993, already a single young mother, she abandoned her high school studies because of the need to provide for her children abd started a business selling office and school supplies.

With her first loan, four months ago, she replenished her stock, purchasing notebooks, reams of papers, boxes of ballpoint pens, markers, and pencils of various colors. Her sales have increased from 30,000 to 100,000 West African Francs per day, as her stand is located downtown, in an area with many offices and a school building. She repaid her loan without any issues and was able to put away substantial savings. WIth this second loan, she is going to continue the strategy of expanding her business by reinforcing her merchandise stock, meeting her clients' needs and achieving significant revenues. This client stands out by being reliable, prompt and punctual in her payments. She is set on doing all she possibly can to achieve her goal.
