Dhoren F. is from the town of Banga. She is 25 years old. Dhoren is married and has a 6-year-old child. To make a living, Dhoren owns & operates a business venture in the agriculture sector. The main source of income for the business comes from planting and harvesting rice for sale. Dhoren also makes puto (rice cakes) and other delicacies, which she sells around her neighborhood.
Dhoren joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Dhoren has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Dhoren is requesting a new loan of 12000 PHP which will be used to buy farm inputs such as fertilizers. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement the family's income.
