A loan of $1,075 helped to buy sacks of manure, fertilizers and potato and pea seeds.

Wilfredo's story

Wilfredo, 23, lives with his parents in the property they own. Since his childhood he’s been in farming. Since then he learned everything necessary about agricultural techniques. He now applies all that to his land growing potato, corn and lima beans among other products. He also raises cows and sheep that he keeps in his own stable. His parents support his decision to be independent and administer his own lands and it is a source of income for his family.

He works caring for his crops and animals every day because this has allowed him to earn better profits when he sells his crops or his animals, something he does periodically. His dream is to have a larger stable and larger land area.

This is his second loan with MFP. He is very happy to know that he has financial support. Besides, he enjoys being part of his communal bank because all the members are responsible, mutually supportive people that he knows. He is grateful to all the people who will fund the loan he’s asking for that will be very useful in his economic activity.

He will use the money to buy sacks of manure, fertilizers and improved seeds as well as vitamins to improve the health of his animals.
